No. This is an oversized 12x18 inch flag attached to a 24-inch (2-foot tall) wooden pole. The 5/16" thick pole is far too large and thick to fit into a standard office desk flag base. This size is specifically designed for holding in your hand at parades, waving at rallies, or staking directly into the ground as an event marker.

Does "Single-Sided" mean the back side is blank or white?

No, the back side is not blank! "Single-Sided" means the design is printed on the front layer of the fabric, but because it is lightweight polyester, the ink "bleeds through" to the back with excellent color saturation. The UCC emblem will be clearly visible on both sides, but any text will appear mirrored (backward) when viewed from the reverse side.

Can I leave this flag staked in the ground permanently?

While this is an excellent flag for temporary gravesite marking or weekend event boundaries, we do not recommend leaving it outdoors permanently. The pole is made of natural, untreated wood which will eventually warp, splinter, or rot if left in wet soil for extended periods of time.

Is the wooden pole sturdy enough for vigorous waving?
