    • The purpose of the USA Coast Guard ensign flag is to allow ship captains to easily recognize those vessels having legal authority to stop and board them. The flag features a red, white and blue design and is flown only as a symbol of law enforcement authority and is never carried as a parade standard.
    • Size & Material- 5 Ft tall X 8 Ft wide & printed with UV resistant inks on 1-ply 200 denier nylon, a robust seaworthy material most suitable to resist the harmful effects of salt water spray and will fly in the lightest air.
    • Stitching- Seams are double stitched using an extra strength core polyester thread on the top and bottom edges, and have quadruple stitching on the fly ends with double folded edges to ensure the flag has along life.
    • Finishing- Made ready to fly with 2 rust proof 0.5 inch dia solid brass grommets fastened to a no-shrink 1.5 inch white canvas heading for attachment on poles or halyards.
