Reverse print (also called single-reverse) means the dye fully penetrates the nylon during printing, so the front reads correctly and the back shows a sharp mirror image. This matters even more at 5x8 scale than on smaller flags: a true double-sided flag of this size (two layers sewn together with a block-out liner) would be extremely heavy, require strong sustained wind just to lift, and put far more stress on your flagpole hardware. We do not recommend machine washing, especially at this size. If the flag suffers from a manufacturing defect (such as an improperly set grommet, misprinted colors, or unraveled stitching out of the box), we will replace it free of charge within 30 days. Normal outdoor wear and tear at this size — such as fly-end fraying from sustained wind exposure — is the expected lifecycle of a large outdoor flag and is not covered as a manufacturing defect.
