Everything you need to know about the Rainbow Pride Stick Flag 12x18 inch - Mounted on 24 inch Wooden Pole - 6 Stripe Rainbow LGBTQ+ Pride Flag on Stick
The rainbow pride flag was designed by artist and gay rights activist Gilbert Baker in 1978, debuting at the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade. The original flag had 8 stripes, but the modern 6-stripe version (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet) became the global standard. Each color carries symbolic meaning: red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for harmony, and violet for spirit. Today it is the most widely recognized symbol of LGBTQ+ pride, solidarity, and visibility worldwide.
The 12x18 on a 24-inch pole is the largest format, designed for maximum parade visibility. The 8x12 (18-in pole) is mid-size and the 4x6 (11-in pole) is the desk/giveaway format.
