For residential porch displays, we recommend a compact 4-foot or 5-foot wall pole. For marine use, this size fits standard 24-inch to 36-inch boat stern flagpoles and rail mounts. If you are mounting on an outdoor in-ground flagpole taller than 15 feet, we recommend upgrading to our standard 3x5 ft or oversized 4x6 ft national flags.

If your flag accumulates marine salt, outdoor soot, or atmospheric grime, hand wash it in lukewarm water using a mild, non-bleach detergent. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and hang it flat to air dry completely before storing or displaying. Never store a folded wet flag in a boat locker or cabin, as trapped moisture can cause mildew.
