Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Bear Pride Flag 6x10 Ft - Bear Paw Design, Single Sided Printed 200D Nylon
The bear pride flag features 7 horizontal stripes -- dark brown, orange, gold, tan, white, gray, and black, with a bear paw print in the corner. Designed by Craig Byrnes in 1995. The seven stripe colors reflect the range of hair and fur colors found on bears and their admirers, and the paw print represents the bear community itself. Today it is the most widely recognized symbol of the bear community -- a subculture of the gay community celebrating larger, hairier men and their admirers.
A 6x10 ft flag is best suited to a flagpole matched to that size -- check your pole height against standard flag-to-pole sizing before ordering.
200D nylon with fade-resistant printing holds color significantly longer than thin polyester, though all outdoor flags fade gradually with extended sun exposure.
Single-sided printed. The back shows a mirrored reverse image.
