What does the California Bear Flag represent?

Is this flag suitable for long-term outdoor high-wind flying?

Economy polyester is not recommended for long-term outdoor use in high-wind locations. The lightweight fabric and iron plated grommets are best suited for indoor display, short-term outdoor events, and sheltered locations. For sustained outdoor use, upgrade to the 200D nylon version.

Will this 3x5 ft flag fit on a standard residential wall pole?

Yes. The 3x5 ft size fits standard 6 ft wall bracket poles and 15–25 ft residential in-ground flagpoles. It is the most common residential and event flag size.

Does the print show through to the back side?

This is a single-sided printed flag. The California design appears correctly on the front face; the back shows a lighter reverse image, which is standard for single-sided printed polyester flags.

Are the grommets rust-resistant for indoor or moderate outdoor use?

The iron plated grommets are suitable for indoor and light sheltered outdoor use. With extended outdoor exposure to rain or coastal salt air, the iron plating can wear through and rust. For outdoor use, the 200D nylon version with solid brass grommets is recommended.

Is this flag easy to iron or steam to remove shipping folds?

Yes. Light steaming or ironing on a low polyester setting can remove shipping folds. Place a thin cloth between the iron and the flag to avoid scorching the print. Allow to cool flat before displaying.
