Flag Features

Premium outdoor flag construction — durable 200D nylon, sharp reverse print, and reinforced edges engineered to survive the intense Florida elements.

Massive Canvas

4x6 Ft Premium Size

A colossal 48 by 72 inch profile designed for maximum impact. Perfectly proportioned for 20ft to 25ft commercial or residential flagpoles, ensuring Florida’s iconic red saltire commands attention.

Weather Ready

200D Nylon Fabric

The gold standard for outdoor flags in the South. 200 Denier nylon is inherently water-resistant, shedding daily rainstorms quickly while remaining light enough to wave majestically in a soft ocean breeze.

Deep Penetration

Reverse Print on Back

Advanced dye-sublimation ensures the ink bleeds completely through the nylon. The design reads correctly on the front, providing a highly saturated, vibrant mirror-image of the state seal on the reverse side.

Rust-Proof

Solid Brass Grommets

Secured within a heavy-duty canvas header, two solid brass grommets provide a reinforced, rust-proof connection point for your halyard clips, preventing the fabric from tearing in harsh weather.

Anti-Fraying

Stitched Edges

The fly end bears the brunt of wind whipping. Our flag features multiple rows of tight lock-stitching along the outer edges to fortify the seams and drastically reduce long-term fraying from coastal winds.

UV Resistant

Fade Proof Colors

Treated with UV-resistant dyes, the Florida red, white, and gold are locked in. The sharp, vivid colors resist extreme sun bleaching, keeping your flag looking brand new for longer.

Why Choose Us

200D Nylon, Brass Grommets, Stitched Edges — A 4x6 Flag Built for the Florida Elements

A cheap 100D polyester flag might look fine out of the box, but after a month in the intense Florida sun and daily thunderstorms, it turns into a faded, shredded rag. By utilizing 200 Denier Nylon, solid brass hardware, and lock-stitched edges, we address the three most common causes of flag failure: fabric rot, mount tearing, and edge fraying.

Care & Maintenance

Maximizing the lifespan of your 200D Nylon 4x6 Ft flag

  • Severe Weather Takedown

A 4x6 foot flag acts like a massive sail. In wind speeds exceeding 40 mph or during severe Florida thunderstorms and hurricane warnings, the wind-whip exerts dangerous force on the fly hem. Lowering your flag during severe weather is the #1 way to extend its life.

  • Washing & Salt Removal

If you live near the coast, salt spray can crystallize in the nylon weave and become abrasive. Wash the flag periodically by hand using a mild detergent and cold water. Never put it in a washing machine, as the agitation can damage the grommets. Air dry completely before hoisting.

  • Proper Storage

Never fold or store a wet or damp flag; it will quickly develop mildew in the humid Florida climate. Once completely dry, fold it neatly (the traditional triangle fold works perfectly) and store it in an air-conditioned room away from direct sunlight.

  • Monitor the Fly End

The "fly end" (the edge furthest from the flagpole) is always the first to show wear. Check it periodically. If you notice minor fraying beginning, you can carefully trim the frayed thread and re-sew the hem to give the flag a second life before a full blowout occurs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the PromoPatriot Florida 4x6 Ft Flag

A "reverse print" (often called single-reverse) is the industry standard for high-quality outdoor flying flags. It means the design is printed on the front side of the flag with dyes that penetrate 100% through the fabric. As a result, the front side reads correctly (text and state seal are properly oriented), and the back side shows a sharp, vibrant mirror-image. This construction is highly preferred for a massive 4x6 flag because it keeps the flag to a single, lightweight layer of 200D nylon. If a flag this size were truly "double-sided" (two layers sewn together), it would be incredibly heavy, absorb too much water in Florida storms, and require gale-force winds just to lift it, putting extreme stress on your flagpole.

A 4x6 foot flag (48 by 72 inches) is quite large and makes a spectacular, dominating display. If you are flying it on a freestanding in-ground flagpole, 4x6 is generally the ideal, proportionate size for poles that are 20 to 25 feet tall. However, if you intend to fly this on a standard 5-foot or 6-foot angled pole mounted to your front porch, a 4x6 flag is usually too large—it may drape to the ground or easily snag on gutters and porch railings when the wind blows. For standard porch mounts, we highly recommend purchasing a 3x5 foot flag instead.

When you unbox your 200D nylon flag, it will have distinct crease lines from being folded in transit. The safest and easiest way to remove these is with a handheld garment steamer. The gentle steam relaxes the nylon fibers and drops the wrinkles right out. Alternatively, you can use a standard clothing iron, but you must be careful: set it to the lowest heat setting (usually marked "Nylon" or "Synthetics") and iron the flag quickly. Never leave a hot iron resting on the nylon fabric, as it will melt the synthetic fibers instantly.

Flag lifespan depends entirely on exposure. Florida provides some of the harshest flag-flying conditions in the country due to intense UV index, high humidity, and severe coastal winds. An outdoor 200D Nylon flag flown 24/7 in these conditions will generally last 6 to 9 months before showing noticeable fraying or fading. By bringing the flag indoors during severe weather (winds over 35 mph, tropical storms) and occasionally washing it to remove airborne salt particles, many customers stretch the lifespan of their PromoPatriot flag well past a year.

We do not recommend machine washing. The heavy agitation of a washing machine can damage the solid brass grommets, misshape the canvas header, and accelerate wear on the stitched edges. If your flag becomes dirty from outdoor smog, pollen, or coastal salt spray, simply hand wash it in a large sink or tub using cool water and a mild, bleach-free detergent. Rinse it thoroughly and hang it up to air dry completely. Never put a nylon flag in a tumble dryer.

You can return the flag within 30 days in original, unused condition for a full refund—a prepaid return label will be provided. If the flag suffers from a manufacturing defect (such as an improperly set grommet, misprinted colors, or unraveled stitching out of the box), we will replace it free of charge within 30 days. Please note that normal outdoor wear and tear—such as edge fraying from high winds or color fading over several months of intense Florida UV exposure—is the expected lifecycle of an outdoor flag and is not covered as a manufacturing defect.
