Biker clubs, veteran riders, and traditionalists frequently seek out this classic seal generation to display proudly on the road.

Will the 0.75-inch sleeve fit my specific motorcycle pole?

The 0.75-inch (3/4") fabric sleeve is universally designed to slide snugly over standard 3/8-inch diameter mount poles commonly found on luggage racks and sissy bars. If your pole is a thicker 1/2-inch custom mount, this flag sleeve will be too tight to slide on securely.

What keeps the flag from sliding down the pole while I am riding?

This flag is built with a closed-top sleeve design. The very top of the fabric sleeve is sewn completely shut, allowing it to rest securely against the top Finial or cap of your pole. To prevent the flag from riding upwards, you must secure the base using a small rubber O-ring or an adjustable pole clamp (not included).

Why is a 2-ply knitted polyester flag better than nylon for motorcycles?

Standard nylon acts like a parachute, catching solid blocks of wind that violently snap the fabric edges until they tear. Knitted polyester uses an open, micro-porous weave that allows small amounts of wind resistance to pass directly through the flag. By sewing two of these layers together (2-Ply), the flag maintains extreme durability while dramatically reducing drag on your bike's mounting hardware.

What speed limits are safe for a 2-ply motorcycle flag?

Our 2-ply flags are specifically engineered to survive sustained highway cruising speeds up to 70 mph. However, all fabrics will eventually fray when exposed to severe highway whipping forces. To extend the life of your flag, snip any small loose threads you notice on the trailing edge before they can unravel the border stitching.

Can I use this flag for an automotive car window mount instead?
