This 4x6 inch miniature flag features the classic pre-2024 historic state seal layout on a royal blue field. It does not feature the minimalist North Star pattern adopted in mid-2024. This makes it perfect for historical dioramas, heritage events, or matching an existing collection of older state flags.

Will this fit my standard desktop flag base?

Yes. The black plastic pole has a standard diameter of approximately 3/16-inch, which is universally designed to slide smoothly into commercially available 1-hole, 2-hole, and 3-hole desk bases.

Is the flag made of paper or real fabric?

This flag is made of genuine lightweight printed polyester. Unlike ultra-budget paper giveaway flags that crease, stiffen, and tear easily, our polyester fabric allows the miniature flag to drape naturally and gently wave when moved.

Are the edges of this small flag sewn?

No. On flags of this miniature size (4x6 inches), folded and sewn edges are too bulky and prevent the flag from draping properly. Instead, we use a clean hot-cut perimeter finish that seals the polyester fibers to prevent immediate fraying while keeping the fabric light.

Can I push this flag into the ground like a memorial marker?

We do not recommend it. The 11-inch pole is made of flexible plastic designed for desk bases and handheld use. It lacks the rigidity of a wood dowel to pierce hard soil. For ground planting and memorial markers, we highly recommend upgrading to our larger 12x18 inch stick flag which features a solid 5/16" thick wood pole.

Is the design printed on both sides?

The flag utilizes a single-sided printing process with full reverse bleed-through. This means the ink penetrates entirely through the lightweight polyester, so the design is brightly visible on the back (appearing as a mirror image), providing a vibrant look from any angle.
